Titanium Solos

Hey Ladies,
         So this is how the Titanium Solo's are going to go:

SOLO 1

You shout it out,
But I can't hear a word you say
I'm talking loud not saying much
I'm criticized but all your bullets ricochet
You shoot me down, but I get up

SOLO 2

Cut me down
But it's you who'll have further to fall
Ghost town, haunted love
Raise your voice, sticks and stones may break my bones
I'm talking loud not saying much

SOLO 3

Stone-hard, machine gun
Fired at the ones who run
Stone-hard as bulletproof glass

You may try out for any or all of the solo's however, you will only get one. I advice you tryout for the one you want most. If you do not care, then try them all. We will hold try outs on Wednesday the 13th. See you then and good luck. Also if you want to work with me on the solo so you can garantee a better audition I am willing to help you out. Just shoot me a text or message me on facebook. My phone is definitely better though. Good Luck Ladies :)

Ball in the House

Remember everyone we are going to be seeing Ball in the House on Wednesday. Everyone please meet in the Babylon Student Center. Seats are first come first serve, so try to be on time.

New President

Our current president Brittany Ahrens is temporarily stepping down from office, due to a heavy school work load. Until the Fall semester Bethany Scola our Vice President will be taking over as President. This is only until Fall Semester. The club will resume with everything as usual. See you all Wednesday with your $25 for the T-Shirts.

T-Shirt Money due the 27th

Hey Everyone,
    So the t-shirts are finally ready. Everyone needs to bring 25 dollars on Monday, February the 25th if you will be there. If you can't be there Monday I have to at least have it by Wednesday because if we go to invitational we want to have the shirts. If you don't have it buy Wednesday the 27th then you aren't getting a shirt, and also means that everyone that wanted a name on there shirt might not be able to get there name do to bulk pricing. So please have your $25 no later than Wednesday the 27th. Thanks everyone.

Solo Audition Update, VERY IMPORTANT!!!

Hey everyone,

       As you may know there are three solo's for 'Part of Me'. The first line: "Days like this I want to drive away..." The Second line: "I just want to through my phone away..." snd the third and final solo: "Now look at me I'm sparkling, a firework of dancing flames..." If you are interested in one of these three, please record yourself singing the part that you want. If you would like to audition for two or all three that is fine, but then I need you to send me all in an e-mail along with your name. I would like them before next wednesday please.

       Now for those of you not trying out. I will send three consecutive e-mails, the subject title will be which solo for example the first solo: "Days like this..." will be titled 'Solo 1', and so on for all three. I will send everyone the recording clips to vote on. There will be three votes. One vote for each solo. I will not be giving the names of the soloists, this way it is as fair as can be, instead each will have a number as for example, 'Soloist 1', 'Soloist 2', and so on through all who audition. When you write me back you will give me the soloist number for example you will write back to me,

'Soloist 1'

'Soloist 3'

'Soloist 6'

Song Submission

Activities Day

         Sept. 5th is activities day at suffolk. All the clubs will have a table set up where you can get free stuff, get info about the clubs, and more. Suffolk Acapella will also have a table set up, we are going to have some free stuff as well. We will even be having a raffle. The prize is a secret till you get there though. You can bet a part of it will be music related, but deffinetly something everyone would like. So if we have peeked your curiosity than come on out and find out just what it is, plus all the other good stuff we might have. If it is nice out the activities will take place in the court yard outside the Babylon Student Center. Hope to see you there.
